EDUCATION ABOUT IMMERSIVE WORLDS
Our Radiance VR App offers access to 35+ VR Experiences
by visual artists, performance artists, and filmmakers
Immersive technologies, VR and AR, continue to develop. Digital and media literacy in relation to virtual spaces gains more and more importance. Especially students in digital fields need to understand how and why virtual worlds are created, which programs are responsible for which visual design and how users perceive them.
Artists engaging critically and push the boundaries of what is possible within virtual realms. Virtual Reality is one of the most complex digital applications in the creative field and particularly well-suited to illustrate many topics, including technical aspects such as 360-degree video, 3D modeling, animation, and interaction, as well as VR's potential for non-linear storytelling. In terms of content, the focus lies on discussing cultural backgrounds, social significance, diversity, and different aesthetics of virtual worlds.
For students who explore digital tools and their creative applications our Radiance VR App provides significant educational material, that can be integrated in courses on digital art, art history, media theory, visual communication, theatre, performance, film, and animation, design, creation, or UX/UI.
